The Enoch I know 🙏🏾
I remember back in 2015, when I was grieving in sadness following the death of my beloved mother, Enoch came to me as a source of comfort and solace. Though I had lost touch with him over the years, somehow he heard of my sadness, and showed up to offer his support.

He, with a group of old Santas, came to grace the occasion in a genuine display of fellowship and camaraderie. Their rendition of the school ode was a poignant testament to the enduring bonds forged on the hill.

That is the Enoch I came to know, altruistic to a fault, always there in support and had the uncanny sense of being there just when you needed someone like him.

Like many others, my prayer was that he would pull true in full recovery. Alas, the bell tolled, and we knew the end was upon us. Little did we know that his departure would be so sudden.

My condolences to the family. I pray for God’s enduring comfort in your lives.

Enoch may be gone but he’s still very much alive in our hearts! Who can forget his unassuming smile, reassuring and calming the waters even in the midst of the storm.

We miss you, buddy!
Rest in Peace and God be with you.

Eih Unkay, ‘‘na this your exit ibi painful paa.
Words cannot describe how I feel. It is you who at this stage will be pulling us together to support events. Selling events tickets by force and not taking no for an answer you have been around and always readily available we assumed you will be there for ever. You shall be sorely missed and I pray God grant you eternal rest.

Uncle Kofi, we are indeed saddened to hear of your departure to our Maker.
You were the ever younthful  Uncle to us, a gentleman with charm and great company to keep.
I have been missing your WhatsApp messages,  the banter , countless reminders to attend Adisco functions and the lovely cakes you baked.
The gatherings, alumni functions etc are never going to be the same without your gregarious presence.

Even though we knew you were unwell, we prayed that you would pull through and expected a miracle but alas! Our loss is definitely heaven's gain, who are we to question God?
Our consolation is in Romans 14:8 - If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's.

May you find rest in the bosom of God away from all the pain and cares of the world.
You will be sorely missed but fondly remembered.

Our Condolences to all the entire family and  friends in the UK and abroad. May the Holy Spirit comfort and strengthen you at this time and the peace of God which passes all understanding remain with you always.

You've gained your angel wings, rest easy Uncle Kofi, till we meet again.

I spoke to Uncle Amo on the phone long before I met him in person. Even through our conversations, I could feel his warmth radiating through the phone. Whenever we met in person, his heart and arms were always wide open and his smile beaming.

At his 70th and over the past few months, I've met so many people whose lives have been improved by having him in theirs. We've lost a wonderful man but we will pity those who never got to meet him or feel his love

Da, I'm devastated that you won't be around to see me officially join your family, but I always felt the love of a father and I promise to look after your son (and teach him how to bake). Your lovely smile lives on in Sacha, maybe one day he'll have your swag for colourful shirts.

You remained strong right until the end but you can finally rest after your courageous fight.

Love Alice

Tribute for uncle Kofi

Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever.

Indeed, I was fortunate to have Met “Uncle” Kofi. He was the uncle in the UK, who I never had.

Uncle Kofi was kind, jovial, remarkable and just an amazing individual such a huge loss.

Winnie the Pooh wrote, “ how lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”.

Uncle, although you are physically gone, you will never be forgotten.

My heart goes out to the entire family in extending sincere condolences.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I share your pain and loss.

I hope you find some comfort in all the wonderful memories of uncle Kofi. His wonderful legacy surely lives on.

How can I gather my thoughts and try to write a tribute about a person like Enoch, Huh? Hmmm! Indeed, life is very swift and like vapour, visible but in a moment it's gone. I haven't got much to say than to thank God for bringing you my way in my young adult days to advice and mentor me to pursue the professional banker's course as a junior banker just after my secondary school days. You're such a jolly good fellow we will forever be in our hearts.
You call me with my childhood pet name whenever we need at functions and parties and remind me of those good old days when working at the Central Bank of Ghana. Bra Enoch, sleep well.

So sad to hear about your passing - can not believe you are gone. The last time I saw you was at the SMOGA dinner dance in June 2023. You dropped me off at home. I was shocked when you were taken ill in July and admitted in hospital.
Sincere condolences to the entire family.

Uncle Kofi - Rest in peace and God be with you. Amen

In the name of the Divine, we honor the memory of a beloved soul, a gentle Giant among us in Enoch. Our dearest friend who walked among us as a true gentleman, whose presence touched the lives of many with grace and kindness.

In the tapestry of life, he stood tall as a beacon of light, radiating love and compassion to all who crossed his path. His legacy of generosity and warmth will forever remain etched in our hearts, a testament to the beauty of his spirit.

As we mourn the passing of this remarkable soul, let us also celebrate the gift of his presence among us. May his gentle spirit guide us through this time of sorrow, offering comfort and strength to all who feel his absence.

Rest in peace, dear friend, in the arms of the Divine. Your light will continue to shine bright in our hearts, a beacon of love and inspiration for all eternity.

My dearest Grandpa Amo was very loving and kind. He always had me in his thoughts and never shirk any moment he could have with me.

His love transcended even to the least person. He had a simple principle in life, “Love God and do your best to be best”.

His love and dedication towards his Alma Mater is worthy of emulation. Trust him to make you feel your high school is second to Adisadel College (the only College on the hill). You will surely be missed in such banter.

My heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, I can’t imagine what the atmosphere is in his absence, because he is one who cherishes and captures every moment with loved ones.

Da yie ‘Wofa Amo’, Due Grandpa Amo, till we meet again Grandpa, rest in perfect peace.

Unc. Kofi, as we affectionately called him was always the joy of any family gathering. We looked forward to his arrival and his jokes, his teasings when he would shout our names ‘Deds’ and ‘Frimps’ with the heartiest of laughter. And when Unc. Kofi would dance it was a spectacle and we had to join him. Our entire lives we associated only Joy and laughter to this man and just took it for granted that he will be here forever.

Unc. Kofi we will miss you dearly. We have only fond memories of you and there will never be another person who will dance to Amakye Dede’s tumtum black like you did and how you would always come to our rescue when mum was on our case. Rest well uncle, now we know the angels in heaven will never stop dancing with your arrival.

Deds and Frimps.
