I only knew Wynne for a few years but enjoyed visiting her with Gail. I was grateful for the help and advice Wynne gave me in regards to gardening, taking cuttings and nurturing seedlings. The young tomato plants Wynne gave me last year were prolific. I froze many of the yellow tomatoes I picked and intend to save the seeds and cultivate them in the spring. I will be able to use the seeds each year and they will always remind me of Wynne.
Rest in peace with your loved ones who have already paased.

I have such fond memories of my visits to Wynne with my sister Colette. Wynne was always so interesting with her life stories and kept us mesmerised with all that she and Jim had achieved during their lives together.
I have many plants of Wynnes around my home and will always be grateful for the special times we had together and the knowledge she shared about gardening. She was such a strong, independent lady who was so stoic and brave. We will all miss her, but know that she is now at peace with loved ones . With love Gail xx

Auntie Lynne was such an amazing lady with a glowing love of her family, children and animals.
I have very fond memories of the times when our parents brought us all together: there were always a lot of laughs, usually instigated by Uncle Jim!

Over 40 years ago I stopped a lady walking an Afghan hound near my home, thus began a lifelong friendship with Wynne, hubby Jim and daughter Tina.
The Afghan was one bred by me that I did not know the original buyers had abandoned - but he certainly landed in the best home any dog could have.
Wynne and Jim were the kindest, loveliest, most caring people on this earth, they were there when I was widowed, came to my wedding, and adopted my two old Affies when I re located to Australia.
We kept in touch over the years, more so when Tina moved to Adelaide and they came to visit.
My life is very much the richer for having known this wonderful lady, and I’m sure she’s reunited with Jim and all her furry family
RIP Wynne and give Shula and Kara a big hug from me 💔🙏🏻

For me Auntie Wynn was such an inspiration. Her energy and zest for life was quite remarkable even into old age. I have fond memories of when as children the families got together from time to time. Can never forget visiting and seeing the Afghan Hounds, so beautiful and treasured. I occasionally ‘bumped’ into Auntie Wynn and remember one occasion in Currys. I didn’t recognise her, (or her me) at the counter, but she was very attentive to my dog. She played with him for a while before looking up. She had a lot of time for dogs. I didn’t see her as much as I would have liked as the years passed and that saddens me. She will be missed. May she rest in peace.

In loving memory of Wynne. Fondly remembering the time I spent with her a few months ago that filled my heart with joy, where she graciously shared her cherished photo-albums. Each page unfolded a tapestry of memories, capturing beautiful moments of her life with her much loved family and her dogs. Grateful for the opportunity to connect and reminisce, these moments now hold a special place in my heart as a testament to the beautiful moments we shared.
Reflecting on my childhood, some of the fondest memories were spent with Wynne and Jimmy playing in their well kept garden, surrounded by vibrant colours of blooming flowers and their Afghan dogs!
Always special. Much love to Tina, Janice, Linda and Jackie x

Now, our friendship is no more but memories will always make me smile. Especially of our time in Australia.
I will remember and never forget you.

Tina, I was so sad to hear of the passing of your dear Mum.
Wynne was such a force of nature and a true inspiration. Her determination to enjoy life to the full was inspirational and I still can’t believe the amount of travelling she did in her 90’s, she was an unbelievable lady. I know you will miss her terribly but you have so many wonderful memories to think back on. Thinking of you at this sad time.
