My condolences to the family of Harold Brown. I spent a year on secondment from James Cook University in Australia at Marconi Instruments, as it was then, and Harold was my boss. Harold was a perfect gentleman and had a great mind to bounce ideas off and I have great respect for him. He and Jane made Maxine and I very welcome. We are saddened by his passing, but are joyful that he is with God's in heaven. The world is a better place because of Harold, he was a good example to me. Keith (and Maxine) Kikkert

RIP Harold. It was a pleasure to know you and share the arrival of our first babies in Watford all those years ago.

My condolences to Jane and family.
Harold made me so welcome when I first joined St Paul's church and was a constant support from then on.
It was a privilege to have known you.

Fond memories of times spent with Harold, Jane and family when our children were young enjoying the beach at Bournemouth and all having fun together.
May Harold rest in peace and rise in Glory .
Much love and sympathy to all the family

A remarkable man with an exceptional intellect, care-full and thoughtful manner, an inner strength founded on a rock solid Christian faith. His was a life lived well - even through testing times.

I hadn't seen Harold since I was about 19, and he was a few years older - so his death has come as a big shock. But with that comes memories of a lovely, kind, gentle and fantastically intelligent man (even at an age when most of us were not mature enough to be like that!). May he rest in peace, and rise in glory. With thoughts and prayers for Harold's family.
