A much loved Grandad and Great Grandad. We will remember all the happy times together. He will be greatly missed.
Very grateful to have so many memories with Grandad, and that he got to meet his great grandchildren in Rose & Elliot; which we’ll all cherish.
Dearest Les,
Thank you for all the times you looked after our car and ran us around, and gave us such good laughs when we were together. You were a true gentleman, and will be sorely missed. We hope you are now joined with your true love Marleen and will watch over those of us left below who will miss you.
All our love - Ally, Al, Sandy, Gary, Paul, Rachel, Sophie, Rhia
Hoping this small token helps with future research with this awful disease on behalf of Sandra & Gary Fingerhut and Allison & Alan Pidgeon in the name of Les and Marlene Wateridge.
Sorry we can't be there for the service. You will be missed by all in Yew Tree Road.
I recall the time when uncle Les commented on my new roadster, saying that it was a nice car, but would be better if it had 2 wheels!
That was him all over, always thinking about motorbikes.
I hope he's in a better place now, filled with motorbikes, and the tools to fix them if they break.
Sincere condolences for your loss Doug and Mark. Our thoughts are with you.
With love,
Paul, Rhia, Rachel, and Sophie xx
You were the best Dad anyone could wish for. Thank you for the many things you did for us over the years. The many happy memories we have of you will always be with us. With all our love, Douglas & Ro.
Remembering Doug & Mark’s lovely Dad, Les.
He was always so easy to talk to and I loved chatting to you at functions. You were a true gentleman. RIP x
