To my dearest Mum, it pains me to have to write this paragraph but the time has come for you to be free of that awful disease and you are now free to be with your dad (Edward), mum (Eileen) and best friend Gertie in heaven, you were the best, nicest, kindest and most attentive mum ever to both myself and Tara and will NEVER be forgotten. Until we meet again. All my love Roddy XXX

Dear Barbara I will always remember you as the beautiful fun loving person who always saw the humour in situations. We reared our children together and attended classes as diverse as aerobics and psychology. You were always a true friend. I hope there was a beautiful welcome for you from Eileen and Eddie.
Love Phyl

To Tara and Roddy
As children we grew up together in Dublin. Your beautiful mother Barabra was wonderful and caring and got through life like any mother can. You will miss her and as the Gogan family we are very sorry for your loss.

Dear Barbara, a friendship born in adverse times, we travelled the journey of your failing health together and I felt honoured to be by your side. We shared many tough days but always found laughter somewhere to lighten the soul and banish the darkness. Seeing you happy and comforted by the love of Pat, your family and friends was always a joy, may you rest in peace and my sincere condolences to all your family. Xx
