Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
Our thoughts are with you. We have known Bev for 15 years through LAS and Signal–an amazing woman, who was warm, supportive, empathic, strong, firm and persistent. We are so glad and feel privileged to have known her. She will be much missed and fondly remembered by all of us, Andrea, Alan, Adam and Emily Tunnicliffe-Milbrandt
I just want to say thank you to Bev for all her support, which has meant so much to me and my family.
We didn’t have many interactions with Bev but like many other people in the borough, the few we had were some of the most important interactions we ever had. Bev was one of the first professionals we met following our son’s ASD diagnosis. She didn’t dismiss or even mollify the diagnosis. Instead she was honest, frank and of course full of good advice and information. It was what we needed at that time. We met her many times since of course when emotions were less raw and like everyone else have very fond memories of her. Our sympathies to the family for their loss.
Bev - you have been such a figure of support for all of us at Signal. All of us have particular memories and I have mine. Thank you for your warm words of support and comfort. For bringing cheer and hope to many.
Rest in peace, Bev. Thank you for all the help you’ve given me and my son and countless others. You made a big mark on the world which I’m sure you found rewarding. I’m glad I knew you if only for a brief moment. You’re an anspiration and I’ll never forget you. Love and respect, Louise and Kai xx
Dear Bev
The seeds of our friendship were sown during the winter of 1988/89 when our respective daughters were born to bring their own very individual love and chaos into our lives. The seeds remained dormant during the NCT years but grew rapidly in the very fertile SIGNAL soil so carefully prepared by Sheila. Such a variety of flowers appeared, nurtured through our shared experiences with Eleanor and Blake (and memories of Holowenko!), committee meetings and campaigns, Fun Movement and Dramatherapy, parties and games evenings and latterly the close friendship of Richard, Sophie and Alan. You bought intelligence, patience, compassion, common sense and great humour to our friendship and your memory will remain an inspiration for me. I will always be privileged to be able to call you one of my closest friends and the Mundays will all miss you.
Your voice and wisdom will always be with me.... John also wanted to make sure that someone said what a light in the darkness you were, and to remember your energy and integrity. and so, Lobs and bugs one more time; even a dragon and an elephant too..... thank you John and Sheila, Edward and Alice
I was so sad to hear of Bev\'s passing. She was a wonderful, caring and kind person. May she rest in peace. All my sympathies to her family.
