David Osborne
In memory of my best friends Dad. RIP Derek
In memory of my best friends Dad. RIP Derek
Thinking of you Derek and all of your family …..May you rest in peace.
Miss you Dad
Sending you, dearest Bev and David as well as all your family my sincere condolences at this heartbreaking time. Although I unfortunately did not have the privilege to meet your Father, this legendary figure of strength and wonder, the stories I have heard of his prowess through you both and Chris will always resonate in me, not least his passion for France and all things French!
May Derek now be reunited with his beloved Rose.
Rest in peace, Sir. The world has lost a great man, and I wish I could have been regailed by your wisdom and wit.

Rest in peace, Mr Ascott. Your memory lives on.
The measure of a man is not determined
By his show of outward strength
Or the volume of his voice or the thunder of his actions
Or of his intellect or academic abilities
It is seen rather in terms of the love that he has
For his family and for everyone
The strength of his commitments
The genuineness of his friendship
The sincerity of his purpose
The quiet courage of his convictions
The laughter and happiness he gives
To his family and to others
His love of life his patience and his honesty
And his contentment with what he has.
No one Son xx
