I was fortunate to reconnect with Greg a few years ago and I treasure that memory along with the other times we were able to spend together. He was kind, conscientious, and generous, which made him a great companion to all of us who considered him a friend.

My heart goes out to Greg's family. We all miss him dearly.

How blessed we were/are to have you as part of our family for 33 very short years. Thank you for your love of family, courage, intelligence, integrity, generosity, sense of duty to your country, as well as that quiet, yet ever-present sense of humor. The examples of the love you felt and expressed for your family will be carried through their future lives as ever-lasting tributes to you. We love you "Giggy Rannal"..

The men and women of the 422d Air Base Group offer our sincerest condolences to Heather, Andrea, Jasmine, Camille, and Loek on Greg's passing. Greg was a phenomenal leader, and also our trusted friend and brother at arms. We'll remember him as a tremendously humble servant, and one of the very nicest and most down to Earth people one could have the great privilege of knowing. He was a loving and devoted father, husband, and friend, and we are all immeasurably better for having had him in our lives. The world is a lesser place without him. May God grant you His comfort in this hour knowing that Greg was loved, respected, and esteemed, and is now at peace.
