I was so sorry to read of Ruth's passing. I had known her since the 1960s when we were in junior high school. I was living in Minneapolis, MN at that time, and we corresponded for many years first as pen-pals and later at friends. I was lucky enough to have met her lovely parents and her daughters during a few of my trips to England. She had a very nice family. I even corresponded with her mother for a while. It was unfortunate that we lost contact more than 5 years ago. She would always remember to send me a Christmas card every year.
