Will miss our chats we used to have. I have all my memories to look back on. Xx
Thinking of Anne and her family at this time. It has been my pleasure to befriend Brian on behalf of Blind veterans. A lovely friendship made with both Brian and Anne.

Dear Dad,
Thanks for all the memories,
Love and support over the years. I remember how happy and proud you were when you received your MBE. You used to say it stood for âMahoneyâs Bloody Everywhereâ, well now I am sure you are everywhere. Congratulations on a well-lived long life. I hope you are enjoying a glass of sherry with Maggie T somewhere.
Ps thanks for teaching me how to play cards when I was young, it came in handy in Vegas.
Lots of love, your son. Carl xxxxx
Dear Brian, Iâd just like to say thank you for me to have the great opportunity to be able say you are my brother in law, from an early age you made a massive impact in my younger and even my older years, thank you also for taking care of my sister with your strength and love. Also the love you showed to both your children and to your grandchildren to. Total respect l. Will always be thinking of you.
For my brother in law Brian who was always there for advice and understanding when asked who will be missed greatly and was much loved forever in our hearts another bright star in the sky
Brian was always an impeccably dressed & turned out man. Acted with honour & respect for everyone.
I remember thinking how intimidating he looked when I first met him but he was a true gentleman.
Above all this, he was & always will be a soldier. A member of a family that sticks together, a brotherhood. Rest easy Staff Sargent Mahoney, your duty is done, stand down.
Thinking of you Ann and all your family at this time, it was a pleasure to have met Brian
Although it's difficult to see beyond the sorrow may looking back at memories comfort you.

All our love Melanie & family X
We shall not forget Brianâs loyalty.
