Your laugh, smile and positivity will be missed by us all. A true gent who couldn’t do enough for his friends and family. So many happy memories and good chats about cricket pitches, football and life. You were an inspiration as a father, I hope that I will have the same kind of relationship with my kids as you had with Helen. Rest in peace Kenneth we miss you so much x

We first met Ken and Anne during the mid 1970's when Ken became the Head Groundsman at the Blue Circle Cement Sports Ground in Bromley, Kent. Ken was a brilliant Groundsman and top of the tree in fine Turf management.
Sadly we had to say goodbye to the Sportsground with its closure in 1982.
Ken then moved into the prestigious position of Grounds Manager at Whitgift School in Croydon again doing an amazing job until his retirement.
Over the years we have kept our friendship going and it has always been a pleasure to meet up in Eastbourne even if it was not very often.
Ken is now reunited with his beloved wife Anne and no doubt sorting out the grass up above.

Our collective hearts are heavy with sympathy but also filled with great memories. Conversations about football and the players we’d both met, how to grow an olive tree effectively. I will cherish those memories, I’m very privileged to have known you. Rest easy Ken knowing we will be here for Helen and the family. Peace and love, John.

We feel extremely privileged to have shared so much love and laughter over many years with Ken. All our lives have been enriched by knowing Ken and sharing so many happy times together. He was a true gentleman whose smile and twinkling eyes lit up every room. He will always be a special part of our family and his memory will forver live on in each bloom of our beautiful Whitgift roses.
