With a heavy heart I say a last goodbye to the gentle giant. Graham was an enormous man in stature, character, mind, and heart. Was nothing but ever kind to myself, and a professor of all things including life itself. If I learned anything from the big man it was not to worry about insignificant things. Save your energy for things that matter. May he rest in peace and my condolences to Aunty Margaret, Fiona, Euan, and Aileen.

Margaret, it's with deep sadness that I learned of Graham's death. It's 49 years since I first met him in Rosemount. I will always remember the words "why don't you come to Glasgow".
