To Sue’s Family,

We are very sorry for your loss.

Sue made us smile and laugh on numerous occasions. Always friendly, always cheerful, always kind. She was a wonderful character. She was a shining light. May she rest in peace.

As I think of Sue I can hear her well spoken tones and lovely laugh as she would welcome us through her door. Not many parents would have been so welcoming to a bunch of know it all teenagers but Sue was. I was so very fond of her and very sad to know of her passing. I can only imagine that she made for a magical grandparent given how I know she loved James so very much. Sending best wishes and love, Lucy x

You will be missed Sue. Thank you so much for looking after us all in our teens and early twenties. You were always so kind, tolerant and good fun. A home away from home.

In loving memory of such a wonderful friend.
I can't believe I won't hear you say "Hilary from Hove here" on the phone any more.
I remember the days listening to records in your parent's lounge when we were at school, the day you dislocated your knee on the top of the bus and so many incidents where you never lost your wonderful sense of humour.
I shall miss you so much and was so sorry that I was unable to be there on 1 March.
We had some great times together over the years. Thank you.
