My heart goes out to all family members at this sad time, I knew Alan briefly but knew him to be a wonderful kind man. . I will miss him.

Alan you will be sadly missed every week at dancing .. you made us all laugh and were a true gent .. RIP.., will miss dancing with you xxx

Thinking of you all at this tremendously sad time. Alan was such a lovely, thoughtful man, positively charming. He was always the soul of courtesy and respect with a sense of humour too. We shall miss him so much at dancing but I cannot imagine how much his family must miss such a delightful man. He will be forever be fondly remembered by us.

I was so sad to hear of Alan's untimely death. In my memories of him he is full of life and fun. The picture is from a memorable weekend event at Hemsby where the three of us in the picture shared a chalet.
I can't believe that I won't meet him on the dance floor. Rest in peace.
