I’m going to miss your jokes, and all the stories you used to tell, even when you added to them, you made them sound so real and we all knew they weren’t, but you had a way of telling them that was so funny and believable. Also, the way you was with mom, having the craic, and how you looked after her on your visits to Birmingham and when you came to bingo with mom and me and you would get all flustered if you got close to winning. I wish we had them days again. Rest in Peace Auntie Nora you was one special lady xx

A fabulous funny lady that was a good long friend to my family - the Palmers (Brian, Sonnie, Mary, Phil) and Francis (Aileen, Tracey & Patrick and all their families. Nora’s funny one liners always made us chuckle. You’ll be missed by everyone but we all have wonderful memories that we can cherish for years to come. God bless!
So sad to hear about our friend Nora. Marjie met her while working in Jersey during the early sixties. Then Marjie lodged with Nora and Peter in Letchworth. When Marjie met Richard we used to baby sit Anita for them. On our visits from the USA we always went to see them and catch up with family news. Our thoughts are with you all. She was a special friend who we will miss tremendously.
