Making a funeral Personal

We are all individuals and so, when the time comes to say farewell, many of us wish to make it as personal an occasion as possible.  There are many ways in which the funeral arrangements can reflect and celebrate the life which your loved one has lived.

For example, you may wish to have a horse-drawn hearse lead the funeral cortege to the place of committal; perhaps choose a burial at sea or maybe even have cremated ashes dispersed with a celebratory firework display.

It’s also important to remember that making a funeral personal doesn’t have to involve lots of additional expense.  It can be something as simple as choosing flowers which were a favourite of your loved one and selecting music for the ceremony which was special to them.  Many people find that involving family members and close friends in the service readings, or simply saying a few words and sharing a few memories, makes it so much more of a personal occasion.

In fact, there are a whole host of options open to you and whatever you decide, if it’s at all possible, we will work together with you in the planning to make it happen.
