For more information on the various services that we can provide, please feel free to call one of our funeral homes who will be happy to discuss the options with you. To find your nearest C.P.J. Field & Co. funeral home, please follow the link at the top right hand corner of your screen.
Cremation
Cremation can be combined with a funeral service beforehand, or a memorial service following the committal. However many people opt to hold the entire funeral at the Crematorium. Following the cremation, the ashes will be returned to you in order to inter them or scatter them in accordance with the wishes of the person that has died. We can assist in this decision. If you do not wish for the ashes to be returned to you, then arrangements can be made for interment or scattering in the grounds of the Crematorium
Burial
Burial is sometimes seen as an 'expensive choice' given the shortage of space in built up areas, burial remains a favoured option by many. Funeral services can take place prior to committal at the graveside, or a memorial service can be held immediately following - dependant on your wishes.
Alternatives
There are an increasing number of options available including a variety of vehicle forms, to woodland burials conducted with the environment in mind, please view our page on Alternatives for more details.
